About Steve

Steven L. Lewis II grew up in San Jose, California. He moved to Santa Barbara as a teenager where he graduated from high school. Steve served four years in the United States Marine Corps assigned to a Light Armored Infantry Battalion with tours in Twentynine Palms, California and Okinawa, Japan.

Upon his discharge from the military, Steve attended San Diego State University for a year and then moved to Austin, Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

After graduation, Steve was hired as a commodities trader with an investment firm in Tampa, Florida. In 1997, Steve moved back to California and went to work for Great Western Bank where he began his career as a mortgage consultant.

Steve has a current California broker's license, over 13 years of experience in the mortgage profession and is an active real estate investor. He regularly attends seminars to continue his education and stay abreast of changing markets. In his spare time, Steve enjoys playing golf and attending Padres and Chargers games with his wife Leigh.

About Leigh

Leigh is a native San Diegan and graduated from Monte Vista High School. She attended San Diego State University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies.

After graduation Leigh began working in the financial planning industry and received her Registered Para-planner designation.

In 2004, she joined her husband, Steve at Teamwork Mortgage where she began her career in the mortgage business and The Lewis Team was created.

Leigh currently holds a California real estate license. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, roller-blading, playing volleyball and tennis and traveling with her husband Steve.
